Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Meteoro app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Ariel Redelico (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application requires an account to provide the Service. When you sign up or sign in, the Service Provider collects:

• Your email address
• Your name and profile picture URL, if you sign in with Google or Apple and choose to share them
• A user identifier created for your account

You can sign in with an email and password, with Sign in with Apple, or with Google. Authentication is handled by AWS Cognito.

The content you create in the Application is stored on the Service Provider's servers so it can sync across your devices and power features such as statistics and reminders. This includes your habits, to-dos, reminders, goals, check-ins, journal entries, notes, and lists (such as reading, watchlist, wishlist, groceries, packing, and addresses), together with any text you enter in them. It also includes your in-app preferences (such as theme and language) and, for reminders scheduled at an exact time, your time zone.

If you enable notifications, the Application registers a device push token so reminders can be delivered to your device. The title of a reminder is included in the notification sent to your device.

Server infrastructure may automatically log your IP address and basic request metadata for security and operational purposes. The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device, does not contain advertising, and does not use third-party analytics.

The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.

Face ID / biometric authentication, when used to lock lists or confirm sensitive actions, is performed entirely on your device by the operating system. No biometric data is ever collected or transmitted.

The Service Provider may use your email address to send messages required to operate the Service, such as account verification and password reset emails. The Service Provider does not send marketing emails.

Third Party Access

The Service Provider does not sell your data and does not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your data is processed by the following service providers solely to operate the Application:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting, authentication, database storage (encrypted at rest), push notification delivery, and transactional email. Data is stored in the United States.
• Apple — delivery of push notifications, and Sign in with Apple if you use it.
• Google — Sign in with Google, if you use it.
• Sentry — error monitoring on the server. Error reports are associated with an anonymous identifier, not with your email or your content.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Data Export

You can export a copy of your data as a JSON file at any time from the Application's Settings.

Data Retention and Deletion

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the Application (Settings, Danger zone, Delete account). Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You may also request deletion by contacting the Service Provider at hello@meteoro-app.com, and they will respond in a reasonable time.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by deleting your account and uninstalling the Application.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider (hello@meteoro-app.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure Keychain, and server logs do not include your email or your content. Data shared with the Application's home-screen widget never leaves your device.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
