How Meteoro works

The logic behind every list.

Meteoro is a set of focused lists that share one Home. Each list knows its job, and you only turn on the ones you use. This page explains how each one thinks.

Tap a list to expand it, just like in the app. And yes, these are the app's real themes:

A habit is a small action you repeat. Gym, reading, guitar. Name it, give it a color, and it shows up every day, ready for its check.
Set a target, or don't. A number of times per week, per month or per year. A habit without a target just counts: more is better.
Pin a weekly target to specific days. Say Mon, Wed and Fri: the days you pick are the days it expects you.
Watch the bar fill. Turn on Show progress and a bar under the name tracks the period's target, check by check.
Streaks reward consistency, not perfection. Hit the target and the counter grows: ×2, ×3, ×10. With a 3-times-a-week target the streak survives on any 3 days of the week; nothing has to be consecutive. Miss a period and it resets, but your history stays.
The pill reacts. The longer the streak, the more meteors cross the habit's row, and from ×7 the counter burns red.
Wanna tryhard a skill? Turn on Level Up. The habit starts earning experience for the time you put in: one hour is 100 EXP, levels 1 to 100. Coming in with years of piano already played? Give it a head start.
Check in with the timer. On a Level Up habit the check button becomes play. Tap it to start, stop when you're done, and the session saves your check, your time and your EXP in one go. You can also log time by hand, and a second session on the same day just adds up.
The climb. Levels come fast early and slow late. The badge changes color every 10 levels, catches fire past 50, and goes golden at 100:

Nothing is lost. Every check-in is saved. Stats can replay any habit by week, month or year, and Time history keeps every logged session.
Everything has an exact time. One-off, daily, weekly on the days you pick, or monthly on the first day, the last day or a specific date.
The notification lands on your iPhone and in your browser, right when it's due.
Due today leads the list. What's due sits up front; everything scheduled for later waits under Others.
Overdue doesn't vanish. A missed reminder stays in view until you actually do it.
Highlight the critical ones. A highlighted reminder is delivered so you can't miss it, and pins itself to the top while it's due.
Repeating reminders keep a history, so you can always check when you last did the thing.
The short list. Only what you actually plan to do in the days ahead, so it stays easy to act on.
Done sinks. Checked items drop to the bottom, out of the way.
Not urgent anymore? One tap sends an item back to Backlog, whenever priorities change.
Also on your iPhone Home Screen. The To-Do widget lists your open items, and you can check them off right from there.
The parking lot. Ideas wait here, safe and out of the way, not staring at you from the To-Do list.
Promote it when it's time. One tap moves an item over to To-Do.
Or schedule the move. Tomorrow, next week, next month, or an exact date and time: the item jumps to To-Do by itself, right when it becomes relevant.
How notes work

One tap, type, done. Notes are plain text: no folders, no formatting decisions. The first line becomes the note's name.

Every note lives as a chip up there. The one you used last stays open right on your Home, and See all lists the rest when they pile up.

You can also pin a note to your iPhone Home Screen as a widget. The text sits right on the screen, and tapping it jumps straight into editing.

Everything you're eyeing. Add the thing and the link to where it lives, so it's one tap away when the moment comes.
Gift season answers itself. When someone asks what you want, the list is the answer.
Named lists you reuse. The weekly shop, the pharmacy run. Each keeps its own items.
Check things off as the cart fills. Then Reset unchecks the whole list, ready for next time.
A list per trip. Pack for the weekend, reuse it next summer. The charger never gets left behind again.
Group the load. Items can live in groups, like carry-on or checked bag, so everything has a place.
Reset between trips. One tap unchecks everything.
Movies, shows and documentaries. Queue them up, and keep the season and episode where you left off.
Rate them when the credits roll. Checking one off asks for your stars, and the rating stays on the row.
The books you mean to read. With the author, the genre, and the page you're on.
And a trail of the finished ones. Check a book off and rate it, so past-you keeps recommendations for future-you.
Episode recommendations, parked. The show, the host, the episode, saved until your next commute.
Structured, not a pin lost in a chat. Street, city, country, saved once under a name you'll remember.
Opens straight in Maps. Apple Maps or Google Maps, your call.
